Two organizations  - One Mission - Endless Impact

The American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) and the Women’s Coaching Alliance (WCA) have officially expanded their regional collaboration into a sweeping national partnership. Building upon successful local pilots in Southern and Northern California, the unified initiative aims to get more kids playing by growing the number of women coaching across AYSO's nationwide network of more than 800 regions.

The successful regional pilots formed between 2022 and 2025 include AYSO MIllbrae, AYSO Burlingame, AYSO San Carlos, AYSO Hillsborough, AYSO Claremont, AYSO Pasadena Altadena, AYSO Redwood City, AYSO San Mateo and AYSO Menlo Park.  Immediate expansion plans with AYSO in the Bay Area, LA County, and New York-Westchester county are underway with more regions to come.

The announcement was formally made by WCA Founder Pam Baker and AYSO Executive Director Jenni Luke on April 30th 2026 at “Expanding the PItch,” an event sponsored by Weil and Deloitte that featured a dialogue on investment, innovation, and inclusion in U.S. soccer. Speakers included leaders in the world of pro soccer: Haley Carter, Washington Spirit President Soccer Operations, Julie Uhrman, Angel City Co-Founder and Rosie White, US Soccer Federation, Kang Women’s Institute.
