Julie Uhrman

In 2020 Uhrman co-founded Angel City FC with venture capitalist Kara Nortman of Upfront Ventures, and actress Natalie Portman. As CEO, she signed 21 sponsors and sold 14,300 season tickets before its first season of play, and attracted a $14 million investment round, including from lead investor Alexis Ohanian. "I am a builder of things. Bringing new (and usually difficult) products to life. I consistently 'beat the no' because I believe anything is possible. I surround myself with like-minded people who see the possibilities and find a way to make them a reality."
