We Believe That ...

When more young women see coaching experience as leadership experience, more will raise their hands to coach.

Program Design

WCA’s experiential leadership program “Coach Today, Lead for Life" serves young women athletes in their formative years (ages 15-26) and builds their foundational leadership skills through coaching youth sports.

The program is designed to be completed over two coaching seasons after which she becomes a WCA Certified Coach. Throughout her journey, she is supported by mentors, a community of peers, and an evidence based curriculum so she not only sees her potential to lead, but also has the confidence to achieve it.

Coaches are also paid a fair wage to underscore her value and to build her financial acumen.
